Went out with my van to an in law family gathering on a camping this weekend, away from the busy city. When playing football with the kids present I sprained my ankle lmao. It's thick and blue now. Still had fun though.

Ever since the Iran attack I have been spiralling downward with my mental health a bit. I guess it's a combination of the events going on and the ever increasing workload at my job. Took today off in order not to burn myself out soon.

After the intense heat a couple of days ago came the intense rain right now. Overall the weather feels all over the place.

My sleep schedule sucks, woke up at a quarter to one. I've been staying up late to finish work for school. Hopefully my sleep schedule can go back to normal when that's done

[–] mjackxson@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 10 months ago

take care comrade!

[–] Makan@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I slept the full 8 hours finally.

Apparently a gas cartridge that I use for cooking in my van was leaking. How I didn't accidentally gas myself idk.

[–] Lenins_Sabocat@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 10 months ago

You can buy a gas detector for cheap, wouldn't hurt to keep one around. Silent killers!

[–] tastemyglaive@lemmy.ml 0 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Did the gas leak improve or diminish your posting capabilities

[–] SlayGuevara@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 10 months ago

The only way was up, so improve

I believe I'm on Day #12 of going through my four withdrawals (dramatic lowering of Guanfacine dosage; Zoloft instead of Lexapro; no more caffeine pills amounting to 1,000 mg, just tea and coffee every now and then; and recovering from overtaking vitamins for the past 1 or 2 years).

There does seem to be a marked improvement from, say, a week ago.

[–] tastemyglaive@lemmy.ml 0 points 10 months ago (7 children)

Oh damn hope you feel better. Honestly electrolytes rich diet & b12 will have you way higher energy than the caffeine pills after a while. Is it cool if I infodump about substances that revivify me? I wish you guys had tianeptine in your pharma system in the states

Never heard of it. Is it—or do they intend for it be—a hard fork or soft? I can only find one comment claiming soft.

[–] Makan@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 10 months ago

I actually have no idea. It's supposed to be a fork that's more privacy-focused with extra features and faster, especially after some announcements that Mozilla made that made everyone a bit nervous.

[–] bennieandthez@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 10 months ago (1 children)

People being divorced from production and paying outrageous amounts of money for funkopops does not disprove the theory of value.

Just got back from a trip to Japan and South Korea. Was originally supposed to go to China but there were issues that stopped that from being feasible.

Japan was surprisingly awesome. Such friendly people and so respectful. SK is definitely worst Korea though. It's basically the US in another language.

When are we getting the ProleWiki podcast where twice a month @CriticalResist8 along with different contributors and editors talk about everything ProleWiki from updates, news, challenges, the "On this day..." event etc. with a section at the end of each episode highlighting some of the goofiest edit attempts in ProleWiki history?

Of course, there would also be a Q&A section to plug the Patreon/Liberapay, as only patrons would be able to submit questions. They'll also get exclusive access to a compilation of bloopers from the last 2 episodes every month.

And it goes without saying that once a month there will be a special episode with a section where @CriticalResist8 invites esteemed guests from Lemmygrad to discuss the featured article and essay on the ProleWiki homepage from that day.
