Somehow this will be interpreted as “proof that scientists are causing Autism by adding chemicals to our .”

These have been harder to pin down than autism spectrum. So this could have some pretty profound consequences.
Oh good now we can give everyone autism so they’ll be reasonable.
Given that the biggest neurological basis for asd is a lack of pruning of synaptic connections compared to neurotypical development, reasonableness likely would not from a full societal shift to asd.
Unfortunately the neural network of the worst among us wouldn't be eliminated, just augmented, see the self proclaiming elon musk. Asd or not humans are still human, we all have our struggles and demons.
Elon musk is not the devil. He is ruthless and despicable but he would be a nobody in a (libertarian) socialist system.
He is being enabled by this disgusting, self reinforcing, murderous system of ours.
Both socialism and anarchism have been proven to work. Take your pick and smash capitalism. Thats the only way to implement a future for our planet and all the people on it.
