Erdogan has described LGBTQ people as "perverts" responsible for the falling birth rate.

Its definitely not because he's running the country into the ground and life has become unaffordable for people.

The historical parallels are quite alarming. The same reasoning was used in 1933 as well against the Institute for Sexual Sciences in Berlin (which offered gender affirming care as early as 1931 and was a target of one of the first book burnings there): "The destruction of the institute preceded a wider campaign against sexual reform and contraception, which were perceived as a threat to the German birth rate" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Institut_f%C3%BCr_Sexualwissenschaft#Aftermath_of_initial_raids)

@KyuubiNoKitsune Degraded and worsening life conditions are never the cause of demographic numbers plumetting, according to these tyrants.
It's always the "others" fault, here us LGBT.

Also, birth rate decline in itself is not a problem, except for the so-called "elites" that benefit from exploitation systems.
