Mighty Pursuit Interview With Vinney Tolman - 107 Minute Near-Death Experience
This is a pretty long and very detailed video interview from Mighty Pursuit with interviewee and near-death experience survivor Vinney Tolman. A well done interview and also a truly remarkable story.
I was initially dismayed by it's long runtime, just because it hard to give up two hours these days, but now that I've finished it, I'm wishing it would have been three hours.

Vinney was twenty-five when he and a friend make an honest mistake. He experiences his own death in a public bathroom at Dairy Queen in Utah.
This is followed by a confusing, lucid state outside of his own body where he experiences the emergency response for his friend followed by a second response later for himself. A response where he is declared 'dead on arrival' and put into a body bag.
He then experiences his own reanimation in the ambulance when a mysterious voice causes a 'Rookie Mistake' that brings him back to life resulting in the sudden realization that he has been watching the fallout from his own death and from that, a new understanding that triggers a life review.
While he is watching his body go through seizures at the hospital, he meets an unknown being in white that calls himself a 'guide'. The guide assists Vinney in changing his vibration so that he can transport to a beautiful, timeless, and massive place that the guide refers to as 'home', a somehow familiar place where even the grass emits an extreme love for him.
Ultimately, he is informed by the guide that he is to be returned to his body because it is 'worth it'. So it was that he found himself waking up in a hospital after being braindead and coma-induced and machine assisted for three days.
He goes on to detail the struggle of having 'Home' taken away, the shock of remembering the after-death experience, the coping of the events and moving forward after these experiences.
