This post is for casual conversation if you don’t feel like making a post office your own.
I just don't know what to do in my time. I've got some loose social contacts I see from time to time, but I'm unable to really feel connected to anyone or anything in my current state. It's exhausting to start any activities, still I keep trying despite feeling tired and sad all the time, but nothing catches on with me. :(
I finished building a bartering farm in minecraft :3 and a slime farm as well. And they're both very much at the opposite ends of the efficiency scale - I ran my slime farm once for 3 minutes and I have enough slime to probably last for all my projects, and I've AFK-ed at my bartering farm overnight and I have barely anything lol.. I'd need to spawnproof the underside of the nether roof to increase the efficiency I think, but I can't be bothered to
I started playing Luanti's (formerly Minetest) with Asuna. It looks pretty good and it is ENORMOUS. I haven't reached the bottom of the world yet, but I think I need to stop digging because I'm staying in the same biome no matter how deep I go. But I did figure out that digging straight down through a tunnel filling with water is the quickest way to go down and up, with the only problem being when you come out on the roof of a 100-voxel high cavern. Got killed plenty of time trying to get to the bottom of it, but I really think I just need to reroute if I'm in that situation.
Farming is weird. Things seem to grow very slowly--maybe because I'm spending time off-chunk, and largely unecessary because food is abundant (just discovered mussles in the ocean, which I just thought were rocks). Can't figure out how to fence in chickens. They escaped a 3-block enclosure somehow.... maybe it's not persistent.
The big problem with Luanti is documentation is pretty minimal and then its divided up among mod packages and even then its not great. Also, no redstone. But I am looking for obsidian to help complete some teleportation gates.
I haven't looked into minetest (or luanti now I guess) in ages, I remember some minecraft youtubers I like trying it, and I did look at some more content of it, but I didn't really stick to following it long term :3

Maybe if you dig more greedily and deeper you'll find the balrogs, lol :p

I know there was a redstone like mod for minetest, with the wiring and logic gates and all.. it was called mesecon or something like that I think? Im not sure what state it is in now tbh, or how useful a redstone like system would even be in terms of game mechanics
I like supporting open source projects as much as possible, and I've never been too demmanding of Minecraft as a player, just mostly doing tourism.
Hm. Looks like mesecon still exists; last updated in two months ago.
