It's extraordinary that Israel doesn't seem to have much direct leverage and instead seems to be relying on their ability to spoil an Iran deal as their "cards".

Vance has already publicly warned Israel that back-biting their most powerful friend was risky.

Driving a wedge between the US and Israel may be the lasting consequence to this war. Nevermind the straight of Hormuz.
