Islam was a target of convenience. His numbers are tanking at home over his handling of; well everything. So now he has an enemy of necessity. Everyone that wants to hold him accountable. This is going to get ugly folks. Arm yourselves and be ready. Be ungovernable. Because they plan to govern you out of existence.

This is frighteningly correct, if you ain’t got a piece get one, a shotgun is probably best for most.

The one thing that give me hope is how big and dispersed the US is overall. There’s no physical way for the government or really any entity to quell uprisings or enforce “right think” there just ain’t enough manpower even if you bring in all law enforcement down to the municipal level. My suspicion is they believe they can use “AI” and drone surveillance to fill that big gap.

It’s a gamble on their part which reeks of desperation, but it might work. It may come down to whether or not Palantir is actually competent and no one does anything direct to stop them in time(this does include a general strike not just a Luigi)

I think you’re right about this, and the extra $350 Billion they’re trying to get right now for the “pentagon to fight communism domestically” is actually for rapid R&D and deployment of additional spy apparatus.

Be aware it’s not just Palantir. There are like half a dozen new companies popping up each week as part of the military industrial complex that are chasing this money to further violate our rights and erode our societal foundations. Stay vigilant friend.

They also just suspended the DOD's cyber maturity model which evaluates contractors and their ability to safeguard classified information, all with the intent of bringing in all kinds of defense startups without vetting their security. It's all part of the plan for venture capitalist extremists to collapse the United States and rebuild as network state monarchies.

[–] stopdropandprole@lemmy.world 23 points 1 month ago (1 children)

yes yes yes thank you!

more people need to know that billionaires are literally conducting an open coup to destabilize the US government.

they want to make Galts Gulch real, a libertarian fever dream cooked up by narcissistic egomaniacs.

[–] zd9@lemmy.world 8 points 1 month ago

literally every thread about this kind of stuff I see on reddit and lemmy I share this link and also the youtube version of it (in a different comment below). You and everyone else reading this should do the same. I'm doing my part to spread awareness, are you?

Thanks for furthering my point and you’re right it’s not just Palantir, I should’ve added a “and their ilk” to it

We're going to see the full fascism mask come off starting September through January. Be aware that there will probably be violence too.

[–] SippyCup@lemmy.world 34 points 1 month ago (2 children)

I mean if I'm going to be accused of violence regardless...

[–] zd9@lemmy.world 17 points 1 month ago

I won't comment on that either way, but just stock up on everything you need now because shit may get crazy. I reallllly hope it doesn't, but every step they've taken is communicating they're not simply going to let themselves be democratically removed from power.

[–] spaghettiwestern@sh.itjust.works 49 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Clearly another fascist plot to silence dissent. Sometimes the truth sounds like an outrageous conspiracy theory.

[–] aarch0x40@piefed.social 26 points 1 month ago

Policies of compassion are the biggest threat to republicans in this cycle. Can't have any of that now.

[–] TheDemonBuer@lemmy.world 25 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

A government of the morons, by the morons, for the morons.

Kinda sounds like the imperialism has turned inward now. We should have a term for that...

I wonder jow many people experienced any terror resulting from the Left Wing. As compared to from, say, ICE?

Because the parasitic kid-fuckers know if they don't start eliminating the competition they are getting voted out next election and then going to fucking prison.

That is as long as the Dems remember we do not want olive branches, reaching across the aisle, or compromise AT ALL. Fuck to Pedo Party.

I can't help but think calling decent people that want a decent government terrorists will backfire spectacularly.

[–] orlyowl@piefed.ca 9 points 1 month ago

I hope you are right but I fear it's going to be more like the thought police and midnight raids against anyone who openly dissents.

[–] SethTaylor@lemmy.world 17 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

Expectations: They arrest the literal far-left that lurks the internet threatening to "take down the government" and making literal death threats (if you've never stumbled upon one, I envy you)

Reality: they arrest Mamdani, Sanders, AOC and also any centre-right liberal they can't win an election against

EDIT: (Rubio) "They can call themselves anti-capitalist or anti-imperialist, communist, anarchist or Marxist,” Rubio said, according The Guardian. “It’s always the same. It is a poisonous resentment cloaked in the language of equality and justice liberation — an overwhelming need to tear down, to wreck, what is beautiful and what is right on behalf of people who are only filled with ugliness and have nothing else to offer the world through violence and through terror.”

Rubio's gonna shut down Lemmy ML. Finally. 😂

[–] Snowies@lemmy.zip 13 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

If they start arresting their competition, and we don’t get violent, it’s over. They win.

You wouldn’t just stand idle and watch as someone put you in chains.

You’d fight to stop them and/or escape.

We are all standing idle and watching our democracy fall.

[–] sportsjorts@lemmy.zip 17 points 1 month ago (2 children)

I’m antifascist as fuck. Fuck Trump. Fuck everyone in his admin they are all traitors and need to be in prison.

Authoritarianism is an admission of abject weakness.

White supremacists are the weakest and most brittle snowflakes.

A healthy, broadly educated population, which feels safe and secure, is incompatible with, and toxic to, conservative and authoritarian ideologies.

They need you to be sick, stupid, and scared.

What a surprise, they're moving into the final phase right before the midterms...

[–] AmyAye@nord.pub 5 points 1 month ago

Yeah, they see the writing on the wall as even the Idiot Cult is starting to turn against them.

[–] Almacca@aussie.zone 12 points 1 month ago (3 children)

They're always terrified of something, aren't they?

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 7 points 1 month ago

Always. MAGAs are afraid of EVERYTHING.

[–] normalentrance@lemmy.zip 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Currently they are afraid of losing the midterm elections and getting investigated and impeached. Jail comes after for some.

So anyone that doesn't agree with the Trump regime is now a terrorist?! That's an awful lot of people. He's just going to use this to start locking up anyone that doesn't agree with him.

If there were a huge, unprecedented, flip giving a supermajority to Democrats in both the house and Senate, what are the odds trump flees the country?

[–] electric_nan@lemmy.ml 20 points 1 month ago

Why would he? Dems would make pious noises about "moving forward", "bringing the country together", and "reaching across the aisle".

[–] BigMacHole@thelemmy.club 13 points 1 month ago

1 MILLION PERCENT because Democrats are KNOWN to Hold Rich People ACCOUNTABLE INSTEAD of Letting them do Whatever they Want! That's why Trump ended up in PRISON after STEALING TOP SECRET Documents!

Everything looks left wing when you're so far right you're trying to dig through the overton window further right.

[–] peopleproblems@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

That's not a major shift. That's just the primary goal of fascism.
