I don't think "marinated" is the right word here. What's the word you use when you keep something in formaldehyde?

Isn't mountain dew the opposite of a preservative?

I seem to remember their legal defense to a rat being found in a can was that the rat would have been completely dissolved.

What did the chicken do to him to deserve this fate?

I think it’s a sacrifice.

This would actually work if they used sprite instead, and not too much that it’s swimming in it.

Sprite demi-glace for the win.

Caffeinated chicken seems like something that was inevitable.

Does Mountain Dew have caffiene in some countries? No caffeine in the Canadian one.

[–] TomMasz@piefed.social 1 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

It does in the US version. Interesting that it doesn't elsewhere.

Canada has (had?) a law that only non-clear colas could have caffeine, except root beer, which cannot contain caffeine in Canada.

If memory serves it was for the sake of kids who are the primary drinkers of pop.

Honestly, it's probably delicious. I use Dr Pepper in a lot of barbecue recipes. Not much different from using Mt Dew.

I think the weirdest thing about this is the kiwi.
