Is it possible to get a restraining order against Internet Explorer?

It is no longer preinstalled on windows

But there’s still a little stub of it left over, because when Micro$oft baked it into the OS, they baked it DEEP into the OS and now they can’t truly get rid of it.

I'll always remember this linkedin post by a Microsoft project manager. He was trying to give a motivational "we overcame all adversity" speech about his team, describing how they destroyed themselves for the project. His programmers actually got divorced trying to make deadlines. The product was Internet Explorer, a browser that could be replaced with a download page for any other browser.

IE (now Edge and OneDrive) needs to learn how to take "no" for an answer and stop forcing its way into my life.
