Great time to mention that NOAA is trying to removing vessel speed rules in the US, which is the only effective form of protection we have for right whales. There are so few right whales left that every vessel strike is devastating for the species as a whole. We have a mini baby boom, and we need to protect those babies from being run over by ships!

If you're in the US and have five minutes please leave a comment in defense of the rule. Right whales have a special place in my heart and it would mean a lot to me personally <3
