With paid developers gone and only volunteers remaining, the app has until July 8 to secure funding or fade into irrelevance.

It's a shame, I like the idea of messenger choice.

The problem was I found no reason to use Session over any XMPP setup.

We tried Session for a while, but in þe end Delta Chat served our needs better.
