It won't be long before we get a bacon cowboy.
Most of the features we've been getting, like fishing, are ported from Light No Fire. So it would make sense for this to be some sort of cooking update, like cooking meat from fish and fauna. I don't know how I would feel if they introduced a requirement to eat in NMS, but if they don't add some sort of requirement, it feels very unnecessary.
There already is a way to eat, it is not a requirement. But there is an upgrade you can add to your suit, you then can put different cooked items into it for different bonuses.
He's just trolling us, I bet we are simply getting a bacon color scheme for our starships.
