Yep, it feels really fishy. He dropped a whole album and all of these songs sound the same.
Can't say I didn't enjoy this one in the moment, but knowing it was probably generated in minutes sucks the joy out of it longterm.
It's such a shame, too. The one about losing your mind is just perfect. They really should have to disclose the AI inclusion. At this point, if it wasn't AI, you'd think they would've come out and said it.
Don't know, don't care either. Wouldn't be much different to me than in the sixties when synthesizers came out.
Found this the other day, was in love, then found it is almost certainly (like 99.99%) genAI. Bummer.
Also, personally don't think the content type fits the community.
This animation doesn't have any of the normal tells that it is AI generated. How did you find out it was ai?
Sorry, I should have clarified that I was talking about the song specifically. I am not sure about the animation.
Evidence: The creator has been posting videos on TikTok since 2024, never involving music. Videos have features the same formulaic AI generated voice in each video. Only very recently (~3 months) have they released any music, and shockingly fast. The music includes no typical credits. Said music is detected as genAI by Deezer and other detectors.
Note that I think any "AI detector" should be taken with a grain of salt, but combined with all the other supporting evidence it seems very, very likely.

Thank you for the explanation! Although I'm quite familiar with image and video generated by AI, I had never looked into AI music before. So it was not something I was looking for.
It's hilarious the AI backlash that's seemingly under a groundswell. Only going to get much worse from here. It's like pushing back against the automobile.
