this is the shittiest film ever. It's so bad it's not even so bad it's good. It is completely boring. I watched the MST3k version and even that couldn't make it enjoyable. It shows its roots as being made by a fertilizer salesman because it's complete shit

It just made me sad.
Manos, The Hands Of Fate was, and still is, widely believed to be the worst movie to ever have been made. It is truly terrible, the MST3000 episode of it is the only thing that makes it barely watchable. Even then, it is torturous.
The lore, fall into obscurity, and then subsequent rise to fame of the film, thanks mainly to MST3000, is admittedly, far more intriguing than the film itself could ever hope to be. It is one of those sort of "so bad, and yet I cannot turn away" situations.
This movie has the best line of all time

the whole movie is such a shitty product, it owes its legacy to MST3000
That line is actually from The Touch of Satan (S09E08).
