I don't want to diminish the thousands to birds killed, or the intent behind this to retain Bill sage infrastructure.

I also want to highlight that 14,000,000 birds are killed by direct strikes with motor vehicles during the 4 months mating season in Canada. Thats just birds, mammals and herpetofauna have their own depressing statistics.
