Checks my BC hydro time of use rate for charging my EV... A little under 10 cents per kwh, and my car averages about 15kwh per 100km, so $1.50 per 100km.

A gas car is what, 8 liters per 100km, or around $17 per 100km

Just to put this in perspective, if you drive each car 200,000km it would be about $3000 in electricity for the EV, and around $34,000 in gas for the car.

It doesn't cost $31,000 more to get an EV than a similarly sized gas vehicle either. Ignoring the stupidity that is Tesla anyways.
