Imaginary Maps

Maps have been around for centuries- they help us know what cultures were aware of in terms of their neighbors, other lands, and so on. Map making continues today, as we map other planets, the bottom of the seas, and continually produce high quality maps here that measure various aspects of culture, demographics, and geography.

Wiesbaden was a candidate to potentially become West Germany's capital after the war, since it remained mostly intact, was close to the economic and logistical centre of (West) Germany and had several buildings large enough to accomodate a makeshift government, such as the Kurhaus or the Stadtschloss. This map presupposes that Wiesbaden became Germany's capital and therefore got a serious public transit system, unlike historically. The "U-Bahn" is most likely more of a Citybahn-type, as it is commonly used in other German cities like Karlsruhe or Frankfurt. Nonetheless, it still carries the designation "U-Bahn". I'm by no means an expert on transit maps, so I'm happy to receive Ideas on how to improve the layout or spacing to make it more readable.
