What is global news?

Something that happened or was uncovered recently anywhere in the world. It doesn't have to have global implications. Just has to be informative in some way.

Post guidelines

Title formatPost title should mirror the news source title. If you don't like the title of article, look for an alternative source instead of editorializing it.
URL formatPost URL should be the original link to the article (even if paywalled) and archived copies left in the body. It allows avoiding duplicate posts when cross-posting.
[Opinion] prefixOpinion (op-ed) articles must use [Opinion] prefix before the title. Opinion articles refer to articles that their publisher doesn't explictly endorse.
Country prefixCountry prefix can be added to the title with a separator (|, :, etc.) if the news is from a local publisher who doesn't clearly mention the country.

Ukraine's claims have not been independently verified

Yeah I'm gonna need more proof especially after their history of fabricating stuff like this.

I don't remember them fabricating a lot of stuff, the one major thing was the "ghost of Kyiv", which I always assumed was simply a morale booster

Remember the spring offensive?

It carries a modified R-73 so seems credible enough against a low flying target.

The new Ukrainian sea drones are no joke, SAMs and a minigun in addition to torpedoes make them incredibly versatile

Interesting there's so much media about the Ukraine "winning" shortly after surveys were done finding most Europeans think the war is a lost cause and not worth the money.

Need the war propaganda right now, I guess.

I don't disbelieve this or believe it, but it's like posting "enemy soldier killed by new weapon", a sort of puff piece that is on the level of serious as games workshop claiming "breaking news! New genestealer hoof prints!"

They should make them submersible so they can hide under water
