When I do an image post by file upload, the publication doesn't have a thumbnail. How can I do them in such a way that they do? Thank you!!

You can upload a picture for the thumbnail as a seperate photo, maybe try that?

The miniature field requires a URL, which I do not have as I'm uploading the file at that moment.

Can you not click tap on it anyways to upload a file?

If not a little "hack" you can do is upload the photo to the body of your post than copy that to the thumbnail url box.

You can get the image URL from your profile, there is a tab for media or photos.
