Increased frequency is good, but on the Hurstbridge line I'd take improved reliability.

If it's to do with all the bus replacements, it pains me to tell you that that's all been for car infrastructure on the Hurstbridge line, in the last couple years π (mostly)

Haha yeah, the rail duplication followed immediately by the North East link works has been fairly brutal for the outer Hbridgers. But I get more annoyed by frequent track faults and trespassers etc. Can't plan around those and they happen often enough to leave me with trust issues haha.
Cool, whereβs the airport train?
Highly encourage PTV enthusiasts to subscribe and post/cross-post to !melbournetrains@aussie.zone, it's a little bare these days π
Haven't used it yet, not going out of my way to use it.
All I personally see is the massive amount of cycling infrastructure that could've been had for the same price.
The fairer comparison would be the billions we spend on new roads in mu opinion, but fair enough (because I still think the munnel was worthwhile, even if it leaves a bit to be desired).
Man do I wish Melbourne was more bike friendly, it's the best way to get around
