Help, I think my cat is a vampire
Luna came to us because her previous owner passed away. She didn't eat at all before a trip to the vet, but she is generally healthy.
She hides all day every day until sunset. That's the only time she will eat. She even approaches us for cuddles and playtime, but only at night. All night. We really can't sleep. At sunrise, she disappears in fear as if she forgot who we are.
Any tips on getting her used to daylight? ๐ช
Cats are naturally more active at night, so you probably can't change that. As for hiding during the day, how long have you had her?
@chickenf622 The problem is that she keeps us up at night and I fall asleep during my work day. She's been here two weeks now.
I would give the cat more time then. 2 weeks is rarely enough time for a cat to get used to its new environment. When I got my first cat he lived under my bed for at least 2 weeks.
