The tragic part of this is that Disney is essentially positioned to extort an entire culture due to owning the copyright for a two-generations old piece of cinema that has become part of national tradition. Exactly how much is being paid anually for the air rights is subject to non-disclosure, but the fact that the Swedish National broadcaster has considered not renewing is telling.

Here's a quote from an interview last year:

We know that Donald is loved by the Swedish audience and that there would be an outcry if the program disappeared from the schedule, but at the same time we have a responsibility for what SVT's tax money goes to.
