Hi, my mom recently lost her phone and has been going through the motions to get her replacement as she has apple care. After making several calls and claims, which were denied without notification. She went in person to the Apple Store for support. They had her call the normal support line, who told her in front off apple employees to turn off her “Find My”. She double checked with the person on the phone that this was what they wanted her to do as others had told her not to turn it off. The store employees said if that’s what they’re telling you to do, do it. Reading up it seems there’s really no chance of getting a replacement if you have turned off “Find My”. Just wondering if there’s and recourse because she was told by apple to turn off “Find My” Thanks for any help
