What is global news?

Something that happened or was uncovered recently anywhere in the world. It doesn't have to have global implications. Just has to be informative in some way.

Post guidelines

Title formatPost title should mirror the news source title. If you don't like the title of article, look for an alternative source instead of editorializing it.
URL formatPost URL should be the original link to the article (even if paywalled) and archived copies left in the body. It allows avoiding duplicate posts when cross-posting.
[Opinion] prefixOpinion (op-ed) articles must use [Opinion] prefix before the title. Opinion articles refer to articles that their publisher doesn't explictly endorse.
Country prefixCountry prefix can be added to the title with a separator (|, :, etc.) if the news is from a local publisher who doesn't clearly mention the country.

It was in quotes, like I’d expects.

False. He does not think.

Zelenskyy likely said "No way in fucking hell".

Which, Trump being the sociopathic rapist that he is, took that as "Oh yeah daddy I'm ready to give it up"

Trump "thinks" he can predict the future by throwing around clout he really doesn't have. That's why he says he's already met with China. He's brazen enough to think that just because he said it, it'll become true.

Predict? He thinks he can CREATE the future by just saying it out loud

The US has recently warned it would walk away from negotiations if progress was not made.

Aren't negotiations typically between the two parties involved in the conflict? Who the fuck cares if the US walks away? The US currently provides nothing to Ukraine. Take away everything from nothing and you still have nothing. Why is this story even reported?

Yeah, but who's going to supply Ukraine with weapons, ammo, intel? Who is preventing Musk from turning off Starlink? Trump has repeatedly tried to push the narrative that sees Zelenskyy as the one with blood-stained hands.

NATO is a military organisation which is led by the United States. The war started from expansion threats by NATO against Russia; or in other words, the war is NATO vs. Russia.

As NATO is and long has been led by the USA, the Commander-in-Chief of the USA speaks for them.

(As for why, if it's NATO vs. Russia, NATO haven't gone all-in? Because they could very easily start World War III that way, and no one is very keen on doing that.

Oh, and also because they don't give a fuck about East Slavs.)
