What? That couldn't be a landlord, there is actual color! If it was the same flat, white paint on every surface I'd believe it.

Hey, I think that's somebody that I used to know.
Where I live landlords don't paint anything. They threaten not to return the deposit if the previous tenants don't do the painting, then not return it anyway over technicalities.
