Looking for commuting advice for the October 4th MBTA Green Line weekend diversion (lemmy.world)

On the weekend of October 4th, the MBTA is doing a weekend shutdown diversion of the Green Line from North Station to Somerville and Medford. Green Line service in downtown south of North Station will continue to operate.

I am seeking to commute (round trip) in downtown from North Station (origin of my commute) to Kenmore (destination of commute).

Is it necessary to add extra travel time to travel to and from North Station and Kenmore during the weekend diversion? If so, how much extra travel time per direction?

I am not confident and am unsure whether the MBTA will continue to run full service frequency or if the service frequency will be reduced between North Station and Government Center during the GLX shutdown. The MBTA may turn trains around at Park Street or Govt. Ctr. meaning a longer commute, but I'm not sure how much.

I'm looking for advice from folks who commute between North Station and Kenmore regularly.
