You won't be able to weigh one with the harness and its sudden removal could lead to a real tragedy.
That's true of SO many things!
Yeah I mean really design a mechanism specifically for this. Like slowly lower it as it grows, so that it supports it own weight but without deforming. Maybe lowered into some crater-like hole dug into the ground.
Designing a harness is not that hard but it simply cannot sustain its own weight while forming a perfect shape. Thats like trying to make a water balloon retain a perfect shape. If it was possible, someone would have already done it, trust me.
Could suspend it by the harness to weigh?
It would be near impossible to prevent cheating when anything other than the pumpkin is involved. Thats what I meant by you cant weigh it.
