In what third-world do you reside in that quitting an evil job will get you hungry and homeless? And even if you'd be living like a slave there, there would still be another job that is NOT evil or less.

Spoken like someone who hasn’t struggled for a minute in their entire life. Well done.

Why? You don't have a job, you get social security. Search for a new job all in peace and quiet. If not this month, then next. Or next year. It's most likely not awesome nor drowning you in great riches, but you won't starve and have a home. That's what a society is, or at least should aspire to be. Help others.

Unless, as said, some third-world without any social net, then I'm sorry man, it probably sucks and your hate is maybe best directed at those who put you in such a miserable position.

What are you even talking about? In most countries, pretty much nobody can afford to go a full year without a job.

Good for you if you could do so, but shitting on people because they refuse to end up homeless to abide to your moral standards is detestable.

As said, exclude third-world, they have it all bad, not just the social net.

Every so called first-world has at least some kind of social net. Unless you count the USA in, that's a country of slaves and billionaires.

I find it a bit weird that you find it detestable if I had moral reservations about working at e.g. google or some other devil. That's what morals are, you usually don't sell them out for 1000 moneyz a month. Or else they were just nice-to-have-if-everything-else-is-sated. So basically a luxury and ultimately useless.

Spain is a third world country now? You are living in an alternate reality.

But again, you absolutely sound like someone who hasn’t struggled in their life. Maybe you need to go hungry to develop some empathy and understanding.

If Spain shits on the jobless, then it seems like a "yes"?

And dude, you shouldn't have to struggle... That's the whole point. If one has to struggle existing without a job then the system's broken and morality probably comes second. Sad world.

And if I had struggled in life, my expertise suddenly would count?

[–] mabeledo@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I agree, nobody should struggle, but many do, so your take is essentially wishful thinking all around.

For us here, no. It's just a social welfare-state.

But still, even if I would have to struggle, I wouldn't sell my soul for some bucks to an evil company. Probably prefer stealing or whatever over that. And if the state pisses on me and also all companies I could work at were evil, I'd emigrate. There's a reason we drown in migrants...

Talk is cheap. You very obviously have never been in that position yet here you are, preaching. Lucky you.

As said, our state covers hardship. So even if I were in deep shit, I wouldn't starve and had a roof over my head.

Yet it would have to be real shit for me to throw away my morals for some bucks. As said, threw away a great job with not much work and tons of benefits just for that.
