I am using Sailfish OS which has surprised me with its reliability, good ux and ability to do most things.
It is in a weird state, most of the OS is open source, but a few parts a proprietary. However when I was looking for the best Linux alternative to Android it seemed the best option. It seems rock solid, it has a lot of native apps and for the things that aren't native I can just install android apps straight from the Aurora store and they work as fast as if they were native.
so all the apps are working fine? Thats a dream!
Yes I was surprised myself. I expected to need to keep my Android phone kicking around for the odd thing yet, I have found Sailfish alternatives to over half of my Android apps and for the other half they work just like they did on android. I have not noticed any slow down or anything. Even my bank app works, although from what I have read that does depend on your bank.
Oh damn that's really cool. I haven't looked at Linux mobile for like 5 years but your comment might make me check it out again
great
