i wish they casted literally anyone else for dune, since his dumb face is pretty much the only thing i dislike about it
It's not my favorite actor, but he's fine. Why don't you like him? I think he's alright as Paul. Maybe there's some unknown person who's the right age who could have been better, but he's the only actor I know who was the right age who's good enough for the role. My issues with the movies don't really involve him.
I thought he was good as Paul. Paul is a whiny rich little shit in the books. He isn't really charismatic and only succeeds through his spice visions and by piggybacking off of the Missionaria Protectiva.
Yeah, but he doesn’t have to act like it. IMO I find Chalamet flat with no range.
So your complaint is that he played the character like the original text presents him?
Lol, I never got that from the books. I find that Chalamet plays pretty much the same character no matter what he does.
