Interesting. It seems he built a skeleton for the bottom of the boat with some square tubing. It looks like that skeleton acts as a sled while he uses a winch on the front bumper to pull the boat into the bed.

Pretty cool way to haul a boat without negotiating a trailer. But also very unaerodynamic, I wonder what the gas mileage is like compared to using a trailer.

Also, street legal vehicles in the US have height restrictions that also apply to anything you're towing/hauling. This looks like it may be exceeding that limit.

It looks shorter than most 5th wheel/gooseneck travel trailer heights, and honestly might not be that hard on efficiency because the hull shape might help it cut through the air. A truck like that will probably end up getting the same economy more or less full versus empty anyways
