Will the Pacific do? This is Ocean Beach on the North Island, NZ. ( I took this pic ๐ )
Oh that's perfect! And the choccy milkshake is very yum indeed.
That beach is just the opposite to the kind of beach I'm used to.
I walked to the far point, it's all beautiful, the black sand sparkles with mica, there are forests and cliffs and rock pools. But the water scared me, so powerful, always loud. When you look out on the horizon it's like 9,000 km of ocean to land. It is vast.
One of the things I like most about oceans is how they remind me of just how small and insignificant all the human stuff we care so much about actually is. It's a place to connect to the cosmic I reckon.
Oh no, did I miss the chance for you to grab me some caramel chocolate? I've got a craving real bad!
