“Maybe it’s more important to influence the agent than even the human, because with a human you influence one person,” Mobian cofounder and CEO Jonah Goodhart told Digiday. “When you influence ChatGPT, you’re influencing potentially all of ChatGPT. If ChatGPT changes what it says about [a brand], it’s massive and it’s more than any one campaign could ever do.”

If I was this dumb I surely would be smart enough to keep my mouth shut.

Maybe not dumb as much as "you can't stop us at this point, so I'm bragging."

People always reference Idiocracy as some prediction, but Don't Look Up is far more on the nose, and has this very thing suggested, where the phone apps order shit instantly based on viral videos from celebs. Maybe that movie isn't mentioned because it is too close to real and that's very uncomfortable.

Well Idiocracy was an utopian movie. USA living standard keeps going for 500 years, no real climate change or wars, and one average intelligence person fixes some big problems that do occur.

Hell the president actually listens to somebody smarter than him. (And is a poc, so Obama wasnt a one off (I know it predates him)).

Advertising to AI Agent is not a real business, it is a perpetual motion machine that consumes a shocking amount of energy.

There’s a slopper at the other end of it who believes that asking AI to find the best place to buy bitcoin is something that AIs are good at. Or perhaps asking AI to summarize the article and getting a penis enlargement ad as a summary.
