I'm confused
You said it's flat but it's clearly not, as seen in the first image renewables in the form of solar and battery are now hitting fossil fuels from both ends
For example we can see battery is taking over gasses peaking role:

We're both looking at the same graph and reading it differently
You're pointing to the historical record showing how fossil fuel usage is flat and renewables is only covering the new increased demand
I'm pointing to the trend showing increasing renewables growth including for the first time renewables not only covering all new electricity demand but also existing demand decreasing fossil fuel use
It is, and your own graph says that explicitly in its title… The proportion of renewable is growing; the absolute numbers are flat. The proportion is meaningless : there's still as much pollution produced as before. More even.
None of your graphs showed that, only the one about Australia; and it's the global one that counts.
Yes for 2025 only, you don't seem to have noticed that in previous years fossil fuel use also increased to help cover increased electricity demand, I've highlighted this here:

I just think you’re confusing "better" with "good." Are these figures better? Yes, slightly. Are they encouraging? No, they remain catastrophic. We are far—really, very far—from the figures needed to avoid a collapse. Just look at this graph from the report you’re citing. It’s still rising, and it’s going to keep rising. And simply converting a portion—even a majority—of the increase in demand won’t bring that curve down (and to quote your report again, it was low energy demand that made these results possible, they say that in the first paragraph).
Now, get me right: I am not opposed to renewable energy. It is the way forward. But industry uses renewables to slow down the transition, promising a "green" future without requiring any significant changes to our habits. That is a lie. A lie that will cost millions of lives. Renewable energy can only work as a solution if energy demand drops drastically; if we use it to keep increasing consumption, it is completely counterproductive.

Eh 60-75 million people died in ww2 and that was entirely man made problem, I'm just thankful renewables are somewhat economically competitive at all otherwise that co2 graph you pointed out earlier would be a straight line going vertical
That's called cherrypicking. The importance of statistics is not linked to the good feelings they provide. Germany and Australia could be net-zero today, that wouldn't change the global problem at all. The worldwide statistics are enough, and they're horrible. A little better, but still very much horrible.
That won't make a big difference. It's not much better than a straight line… and it's without taking into account the other kinds of pollution, as dangerous as CO2, the deforestation, the free fall of biodiversity, the “tipping points” we're trespassing (and that we may wouldn't have trespassed without the industrial lie about “green energy”).
