Clips from British comedy shows that aired before 2010:
"You wouldn't be allowed to make this these days"
"Comedy is dead, too many snowflakes now"
"Wokeness ruins everything"
You forgot the random jabs at Indian people, but otherwise spot on
The first one can be true - executive following 'safe' ideas to appeal to 'a mass audience' has certainly made comedy worse.
But the other two are nonsense and really even the first is subverted by YouTube/TikTok/etc - no one has to run their comedy past a TV editor anymore.
