Why is it always the same old bullshit? I am not excusing genocide. A vote for Kamala (or for Biden in 2020, for that matter) is not an excusal of genocide. Anyone with an ounce of understanding knew that Trump would not give a fuck about Gaza in addition to accelerating the US toward being a failed state. It was literally "genocide+fascism" vs "genocide+less fascism". Easy fucking choice, to take an hour out of your day to choose the choice with less fascism. Objectively harm reduction. But somehow you reactionaries manage to arbitrarily equate a vote with being complicit in genocide. In actual fact, it is not a vote that makes you complicit if you live in this country. It is inaction.
sounds like a country that shouldn't exist
What does it mean to you to be complicit.
Because while we all make compromises to survive under the current iteration of capitalism, people here would argue voting in support of a party prosecuting a genocide is a bridge too far.
If you think Kamala would have been any better about Iran or Cuba you're more naive than I thought. In reality you fuckers would be defending the blockade and the war to the death if it wasn't Trump in office. People like you have been excusing genocide and imperialism my whole life occasionally voicing token opposition if the party you don't like is doing it. Spare us your self righteousness.
I live in California my vote doesn't fucking matter and even if it did I would still not vote for genocide with any qualifiers. And yes you are categorically excusing genocide.
"Why do people keep pointing out that I supported genocide? They are being such big meanies!"
It's support for genocide. They were both very clear that they were going to support the genocide, and a vote for them was supportive of that.
Correct. Maybe the Democrats should have tried to stop him from winning, instead of handing him the election on a silver platter. Maybe the "electable" and "adults in the room" should have run a serious campaign, instead of the shitshow that we all saw. Maybe they should have listened to the voters.
