Not exactly sure on his exact wording but Ledezma, a lawyer, called for deaths and confrontation between Venezuelans. Whatever his angle was, it seems to have backfired.

Yeah, that's still pretty vague though. He probably didn't call for the death of random people.

I think it's interesting that this piece omits the information.

Found more details on it for you, according to euro.eseuro.com "an arrest warrant against the former metropolitan mayor, Antonio Ledezma currently in exile, as well as his extradition from Spain.

The measure announced on August 21 by Saab, in a speech broadcast on VTV, obeys statements made by Ledezma during an interview with journalist Patricia Poleo in which he stated that the only way to register Maria Corina Machado as a presidential candidate it was “setting civil disobedience in motion.”

He even mentioned that he talks with the military without revealing names, but he clarified that it was not a matter of conspiracy."

But you're right, weird it wasn't referenced. I'd assume the article's intention was to tell folks in the loop the latest development as it's an intricate storyline.
