Have you seen the TV series? As someone who hasn’t read the books, interested to know how it compares.

The first season is very close. I've not read Testaments, but the show goes off into its own world after then. I find the fact the handmaid never has a name a feature of the book that the show misses, though I understand why they changed that.

I've only seen bits of it, but it struck me as fairly intense and compelling. I read that Margaret Atwood herself liked the series, so that's a pretty good endorsement.
