I was pretty turned off until you said 'trade negotiations'.
Are the trade negotiations good?
Okay so monarchy is gross, but speaking as someone from a fictional world with refridgeration in it, this is still a concern. I'm very interested in the considerations. Maybe not enough to deal with monarchoslop.
Supply chains and where a good should be processed is often a complex concern with interesting inputs and answers!
I do like infrastructure. I'm not really that into d/s, but I can switch from epee to foil and we can have sex and feed each other antibiotics after I stab you a few times if you want to approximate/deconstruct the kind of duelling.

No, no, that's the point. Poking someone with a foil while watching a movie, on places that will heal fast, takes really long arms. Or being good enough to stab them in the back while standing in front of them. Most people are not.
