We are a NSFW allowed community.

NSFW Rules:

Anything safe for the public is considered SFW. (Swimsuits, croptops, cosplay etc.)
Everything else; lingerie, panties, bras are NSFW and should be tagged as such.
If you are unsure if it is SFW or not, err on the side of caution and mark it as NSFW.

I was only mildly into anime when a friend of mine showed me this

I didn't get a lot of the references, but in the, I don't know, decades since then, I've watched a lot of anime, so I decided to re-watch it, and it holds up pretty well.

I'm only six episodes in, though. I wonder how I'm gonna fare with the Endless Eight.

I got into anime in my late teens and this was the one that really hooked me into the hobby. Dressing up as Haruhi, buying the manga, etc. It has a sister anime called Lucky Star that aired along side it. They would reference each other a bunch.

The endless eight almost killed it for me. If you want to spare yourself the first and last two should be more than enough. Or better yet read the endless eight instead. It was done much better in print.
