I really like Summit, it is nice. But I can't make my mind about the clients, each one has good things in it and some stuff I don't like. Thunder is nice, but on thunder I don't like the slow start and on startup it gives me a black screen.
At the time I use Jerboa and Voyager.
I did test many of them, I think Lemmy has the most Client's and is best supported on Android from all the other's like Mastodon, Friendica, Loops, Pixelfed, PeerTube ....
I really liked Summit's speed and layout options. The developer has a good exchange with the users and the end product mirrors that.
I would check the changelog posted by most clients developers here on lemmy. It's what actually made my decision to keep submit, forget the hunt for the perfect client for a while and focus on that what makes lemmy so great, it's posts and comments.
I like summit, i told the developer to also offer an installation outside if the play store and a few weeks later it happened.
