Overview:

The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.

Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.

America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.

America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

Do you mean ever or just recently with all the ICE and 51st State bullshit? Because it's obviously not just landscapes and climate. There's probably more shit to do and people to see. Canada is a wonderful and beautiful country but even our biggest cities can be boring compared to other cities in the world AND hard to get to because of how pricey domestic travel is.

Well I never understood it before, as I did a trip a road trip down from Detroit to Florida because my family thought Disney World would be great. And I wasn't impressed by anything. And have travelled for work to many US cities.

But recently with all the bullshit I can't believe people still go. By all means go see historic Rome or the beauty of Czech or Portuguese architecture in their cities.

But travelling to the USA as vacation seems odd

It's something different for people, so that's reason enough, I guess. Also, people just enjoy travelling.

I would have like to have seen some famous landmarks, but I'll never set foot in that country, unfortunately.
