Yeah I thought 2049 was kinda dumb. The original was thought provoking, but I guess people don't want to think.

Came here for this. Blade Runner has some really iconic scenes, but holy hell is it a boring movie.

For sure. I got about 2/3 of the way through blade runner and realized I had no idea what the stakes were and what the goal was. Then it just, kind of, ended...

Yeah, it's meant to be pretty and cerebral. The story is there, but you have to pick up on it yourself, they don't hand you much

You have to be in it for the pretty scenes. The whole move could just be a collection of Youtube Shorts.
