You're conflating commercial competency with personal likeability.
The difference between
Steam is provably the superior platform and that's why they are successful.
Vs
Steam is better because I like gaben.
Defending commercial competency is logically consistent.
Defending a billionaire personally is not.
Now go back and look at what was being defended.
Do you defend Amazon with this kind of energy. It's super convenient compared to my local business and cheaper, Amazon has massive commercial competency.
Bootlickers, the lot of you. And I say this as someone who has a steam deck and mostly games through steam. I'd never defend billionaires and their money extracting machines but all it takes for most of you is a media campaign telling you Gaben and Steam are your friends and how they care for you. Pathetic.
