That is so frightening!! ! How did he get in, was door unlocked? First thing is safety, ie make sure it can’t happen again, lock doors. Ask husband why he’s not bothered? Maybe he genuinely believed the kids story? But honestly I don’t know any teenager that ‘accidentally’ walks into the wrong house. Was probably trying to rob the place and then decided to back down and made up an excuse when confronted by an older male. Had you been in the house by yourself, who knows maybe the intruder would have calculated differently. You did the right thing calling the police. I’m so sorry this happened, sounds awful.
