So far it's still safe to use with an account.

On the bright side my recommended videos are all out of whack, in a good way.

I don't get suggested videos way out of my subscriptions and interest, but I also get less suggested videos based on my interests and get old videos from my subs and videos I've watched lol.

Thanks! That's what I wanted to know. Will give it a shot later.

The recommendation thing sounds interesting, might have to do with morphe removing some tracking which throws off the recommendation algorithm.

I asked a few friends about their YouTube recommendations, since they're less militant screwing with YouTube.

It seems to be a YouTube wide issue right now. Their recommendations are also similar to mine. Showing older videos within their interests, and old videos they've watched. Tbf this is just a sample of 3 so it's still anecdotal so take it with a grain of salt.

Now that you mention it, I think I've experienced something similar. At least I have seen way more old videos I've watched before as recommendations. Seems like a YouTube issue then
