I'm grumpy this morning.
Fuck you Adobe and your stupid fucking subscription bullshit.Premiere Pro is the worst of the big video editors I've used but I go back to it because of its transcription feature.
I'm almost considering buying the studio version of Davinci Resolve to get the same thing instead.
And codec compatibility can be so hit and miss on Linux I've had to go back to Windows to do my editing
What do you say about Premiere's AI-powered masking? It looks absolutely best-in-class at the moment but I haven't looked at it in a few months.
I haven't looked into it yet. I'm just making basic reel style videos. The auto transcription saves a lot of time, but I almost think I end up taking as long going in and tidying them up
Look, anything to knock Adobe down several pegs.
You can even set up a locally run LLM through Kdenlive for transcription. I've set it up on linux, but maybe I should do it again to save myself a few hundred bucks
