In my eyes, the problem is that succeeding in capitalism has almost nothing to do with brains, and almost everything to do with luck and ruthlessness. Workers are the ones who produce value, so any profits that a business owner is able to extract from a business is value that is stolen from the worker. The most successful capitalists are the ones who are most willing to exploit other people. If it becomes impossible to become exceedingly wealthy, then we remove the profit motive on exploitation, and everyone is better off.
ok yeah so I don't think you really want to limit to 10 mil as get rid of capitalism. I do see it as being a way of having to do things but needs to be well regulated. Its the unregulated nature that allows for cheating to be the way over actually producing. In my opinion anyway.
Yeah, I do want to get rid of capitalism, but realistically, setting wealth caps could be a way of getting there without bloody revolution. Similar to how China is using capitalism to industrialize and build socialism instead of just nationalizing everything and expecting an undeveloped populace to gracefully hold power. The Cultural Revolution proved that you can't change people overnight, it's a generational process. By having wealth caps and investing surplus value into communities, you can change worldviews by changing material conditions.
