Valid that using as much as a small country is concerning either way...there are just magnitudes of difference. Uraguay and Jamaica have similar population sizes.
*Uruguay has a significantly higher per capita electricity consumption than Jamaica, using roughly 2.3 times more electricity per person. As of recent data, Uruguay's consumption is approximately 2,388 kWh per capita, while Jamaica's is 1,046 kWh. Since most CO2 generation is from Tue power grid.
