TL;DR: The cruise ship outbreak is of type Andes Virus (ANDV) which is a subtype of Hantavirus. It has some special enhancements like human to human transmission or 20-40 % fatality. You could very well be infectious even though asymptomatic. COVID-Style pandemics unlikely, though, as transmittability is not high enough for a full pandemic. Outbreaks evidently very possible. If you have possibly been exposed, isolate and seek medical support..
